Monique Ojeda

Monique Ojeda was born in Rapid City, South Dakota but has lived most of her life in Cheyenne, Wyoming.  She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a Minor in Psychology from the University of Wyoming in 1997.  From 1998 through 2001, Monique was Director of Communication and Training for the Wyoming Association of Municipalities (WAM). During her time with WAM, she enjoyed assisting the hard-working elected officials who run the cities and towns throughout Wyoming in learning all aspects involved in managing a municipality.  In 2001, Monique left WAM and returned to the University of Wyoming College of Law, graduating with a Juris Doctorate in 2004.  During law school, Monique was on the Dean’s List and a finalist and Regional competitor in the Rothergerber Lyon Trial Court Competition.  She was inducted into the Order of the Barristers.

While attending law school, Monique’s summer work provided her with many informative law experiences.  These included working in the Tax and Employment Sections of the Office of the Attorney General, and with the Legal Services Domestic Violence Clinic provided through the University of Wyoming College of Law.

Upon graduating from law school, Monique worked for the prestigious firm of Freudenthal, Salzburg & Bonds where her focus areas were assisting in several municipal or public sector financial projects and developing a practice in landlord tenant issues.

Since joining Woodhouse Roden, LLC in 2003 Monique has continued to develop her knowledge of Landlord Tenant issues while also working extensively in Domestic Law, Juvenile Law, Criminal Law and general Civil Litigation.

Since 2004 Monique has been a member of the Laramie County Bar Association and the Ewing T. Kerr, Inn of Court.  For the last two years Monique has been an Executive Officer of the Ewing T. Kerr, Inn of Court.  Monique has an article published in the Wyoming Law Journal titled ” _______________________.”
